THE ACOUSTICAL VESSELS

At the top of the walls of the nave and the transept, we can see 96 holes : they are the openings that were formerly called "echoeing pots". They are meant to improve the acoustics according to a technology inherited from the Greeks and the Romans. Our Church holds the record for the number of acoustical pots in Finistere, Brittanny and perhaps even France.
